I am truly amazed and THANKFUL for my life! In the first 18 years of my life I had a whole different vision for my life never knowing I would be the person I am today! Part of that is because I had not come to know my first love Jesus Christ. I deeply fell in love with Him when I was 21 years old, since then my whole life has been changed and transformed by His love!
Interestingly, that same year I met the other love of my life and BEST FRIEND – my husband and we got married a year later when I was 22 years old. So young, yet so ready to conquer the world with my new husband and my faith in God!
A year after we got married, my husband felt called to move back to Waukegan, IL where he grew up to start a ministry – we loaded up a U-Haul TRUCK and drove from Colorado Springs to Illinois and pioneered Church of Joy Home of Sidewalk Sunday School. It has truly been an amazing journey and walk of faith!
My husband and I have been happily married for 20 years and we have two beautiful children, Madison (17) and Matthew (6).
